NetApp Celebrates Nine Straight Years of Best Support Website Recognition

Best support website NetApp

When businesses invest in enterprise technology, they’re also counting on the support behind it. Once those solutions become part of everyday operations, customers need to find answers quickly, get clear guidance, and access help when they need it. That support also needs to keep pace as their business and technology evolve.

NetApp’s ongoing work to meet those expectations has once again earned industry recognition. The NetApp Support Site has received a 2026 Best Support Website award from the Association of Support Professionals (ASP) for the ninth consecutive year, reflecting the company’s continued investment in making digital support easier to use through new technologies and improvements to the customer experience.

Nine Years of ASP Recognition: A Consistent Track Record in NetApp Support

The ASP Best Support Websites award has been running for more than 20 years and recognizes organizations that deliver strong digital support experiences. In 2026, ASP selected five high-scoring support websites: Dell Technologies, NetApp, Nutanix, Red Hat, and Smarsh.

Consistency is one of the most notable aspects of NetApp’s achievement. In 2026, NetApp earned the recognition for the ninth consecutive year, continuing a track record that includes more than 30 industry awards for its Digital Support team since 2018.

The 2026 evaluation was conducted by five independent judges across 22 areas. Participants also received detailed feedback, including scores, comments, and recommendations from the judges.

This approach makes the award more than a recognition of a support website. It provides an external perspective on how organizations build and continuously improve the quality of their digital support experience.

AI-Powered Customer Support Highlighted in the 2026 ASP Awards

For its 2026 submission, NetApp highlighted several developments across its Support Site, with AI playing an increasingly important role in helping customers find information and resolve support needs more efficiently.

Two of the key innovations highlighted were the AI-Infused Case Recommendation Panel and the enhanced capabilities of the Elio Chatbot, including Generative AI. NetApp also highlighted its use of on-demand APIs as part of its ongoing digital support development.

AI-Infused Case Recommendations for Faster Problem Resolution

The AI-Infused Case Recommendation Panel is integrated into the support case creation process. As customers describe the issue they are experiencing, the system can provide relevant solution recommendations.

This gives customers an opportunity to find an answer on their own before completing the support case. If the recommended solution addresses the issue, customers may be able to resolve the problem without having to go through the full case process.

Elio Chatbot with Generative AI for More Responsive Technical Support

NetApp is also enhancing Elio, its chatbot that forms part of the digital support experience. With Generative AI capabilities, Elio enables more natural interactions when customers are looking for information or technical assistance.

The development is part of NetApp’s broader effort to make support easier to access and help customers find relevant answers more quickly.

NetApp Support Site: Digital Support in One Platform

These capabilities are part of the NetApp Support Site, which serves as a central access point for support information, tools, and services.

NetApp is also expanding the use of on-demand APIs. Through its API Catalog, customers and partners can access APIs based on their needs and integrate them into their existing workflows. This makes support services easier to connect with the tools and processes customers already use.

As a result, digital support is not limited to searching for documentation. Customers have more ways to access information, manage support processes, and address technical needs according to their own workflows.

Improving the Customer Support Experience

At its core, these developments are focused on a simple goal: helping customers get the support they need with less effort and better outcomes.

According to NetApp, the technologies and tools developed for its Support Site have contributed to improvements across several key metrics, including customer satisfaction, customer effort, cost-per-answer, and contact ratio. NetApp has also continued to improve the usability of its Support Site, helping customers manage their products more effectively.

For businesses that rely on data infrastructure to support daily operations, this level of support matters. The value of a technology investment does not end at implementation. A continuously improving support experience can help customers get more value from technology throughout their lifecycle.
